You seriously can't do any kind of laundry without the cats claiming piles as their napping places. Athena decided this was her pile of clothes on Sunday. Thankfully they had not been washed yet.

I had a really hard time with this one. There is nothing that I regret. If I had to go back and do it all over again, I would make the exact same choices. If I changed even one thing, I may not be where I am now. And right here is exactly where I want to be. So, no regrets for me.

Graduation

My best friend from high school, Amanda, graduated today. She received her master's in social work. I was really glad I got to be there for the hooding ceremony.

Weekly Words Challenge

Seven

This one's a bit of a stretch, but I was running out of time...

My favorite hamburger has seven key ingredients:
1) ground beef
2) marinated in worcestershire sauce and
3) ranchers steak rub (which includes salt, pepper, garlic, and other herbs/spices)
4) the bun
5) ketchup
6) mustard
7) and dill pickle slices

And the side of my mother's potato salad is just the icing on the cake.




Earth

We have a sand pit in the back yard where the previous owners removed their above-ground pool.

Fire

We went to the Renaissance Festival this past weekend and saw Johnny Phoenix. He does a fire-eating skit. This amazes me as I am hesitant to go near any kind of open flame. But then again, I am a wuss like that...
